Future Trust Initiative is a non-profit, youth-focus NGO registered with the Federal Government of Nigeria. FTI are the foremost service provider for the participation of Nigerian students in the annual National High School Model United Nations (NHSMUN) conference at the United Nations Headquarters, (UNHQs) New York, USA. TAFMUN Conference, endorsed by the United Nations, is a "Catch-Them-Young" initiative.
It is designed to equip students with transferable lifelong skills such as negotiations skills, critical thinking skills, conflict resolution, consensus and team building skills, research and public speaking skills, for confidence building and social etiquette. TAFMUN is packaged for Senior Secondary School and Sixth Form students. It holds annually at the end of August, in Lekki-Lagos.
